Let's talk about concertos!

I'm going to learn my first one (Bach concerto BWV1052), any suggestions?

Thank you!

WOW! a concerto! How long is Bach concerto BWV1052? Havent listened to that one but concertos are long 50 page pieces ... well done! - Unless you're playing a simplified concerto which there is nothing wrong with ... are you?
Anyways talking concertos my favorite one has got to be Rachmaninov's piano concerto no. 1 ... It has many contrasting themes and moods. It begins very dramatic with loudness then towards the end it softens ... a piece truly of great contrast.

I love that kind of concertos too!

The Bach concerto's pretty short (for a concerto), about 10 mins long.

I changed my mind about competing in Nov., so I might not going to learn it.

We'll just have a little discussion on the topic (I don't know anything about concertos and I'm here to learn!).
