After introducing students to Finney's compositions (Mobile & other early intermediate pieces), my kids LOVE clusters, new types of notation & aleatoric styles. I'm looking for interesting (& not too difficult) pieces in the style of Finney & Cowell, which might include some improvisational sections.

Check out John Cage and George Crumb, but I can't specify the difficulties off-hand. Maybe Crumb's 'Mikrokosmos'?
