Those of you who read the Topic of Note forum know that I try to choose topics which, at least in principle, can be of interest to and will elicit comments from teachers and students alike. The topics tend to be open-ended questions where everybody can give his own views on matters of importance to the general piano education community. Although I have provided all the topics for this forum, I don't wish to be the only source for topic ideas. If you have an idea for a Topic of Note area that I haven't covered, by all means, send me a PM or e-mail and let's talk about it. Topics should be broad enough to encompass a variety of viewpoints, but sufficiently well-defined to channel discussion. Other than that, almost any piano education subject might work. Note that Topic of Note should not be used for general technique, teaching tips or any other areas covered by other forums on the Board.
