When you're reading a given thread, it's sometimes tempting to add a post to that thread, even if the topic is completely unrelated to the thread, than to go to a more appropriate forum and start a new thread. Unfortunately, when a post unrelated to the thread is added there, it almost assures that the post will receive limited or no responses, as well as making the post difficult to find by searching, since someone interested in that post would have to read the whole thread to find it. Although I can easily move a whole thread placed in the "wrong" forum, it's very difficult to move a single post out of an unrelated thread.

You can usually identify readily which forum a thread should be placed in. If you can't find one on the topic you're interested in, start a new one. Note that, if you're not registered, and you place an unrelated post in an existing thread in one of the few forums open to guests, your post will probably be deleted.

The board is organized as it is precisely so that people can easily find information they need or are interested in. Let's all cooperate to keep it that way. :)
All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom. - Albert Einstein
